The President serves as the executive head of the Storrie Quizzes Championship (SQC), leading its committees, overseeing all activities, and representing the organisation publicly. They have the authority to appoint or dismiss officials, issue binding directives, chair meetings, and act as the final arbiter in disputes. The President may veto Committee decisions, set meeting agendas, and, if necessary, dissolve the President’s Committee—ensuring strong leadership and accountability across the SQC.
The SQC Commissioner is the President’s principal deputy, overseeing the organisation and smooth delivery of all SQC competitions. They manage the Championship calendar, secure venues and logistics, and coordinate with key officials to ensure fair and well-run events. Acting under the President’s authority, the Commissioner administers tournaments, ensures operational excellence, and reports regularly to the President’s Committee on progress and performance.
The Chairman of the Court of Appeal leads the SQC’s highest judicial body, responsible for reviewing and ruling on appeals against umpiring decisions. Acting with impartiality and authority, the Chairman ensures fairness, evidence-based judgments, and the integrity of competition outcomes. Their decisions uphold the principles of justice within the SQC, maintaining confidence in the Championship’s rules and procedures.
The Secretary-General to the Committee serves as the chief administrative officer of the SQC, responsible for coordinating the work of the Committee and ensuring its smooth operation. They manage records, communications, and official correspondence, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and support the implementation of Committee decisions. The Secretary-General upholds transparency, organisation, and efficiency at the heart of the SQC’s governance.
