The SQC
On the 1st April (Easter Monday) 2024 the Storrie Quizzes Championship held their first quiz, and from then it has expanded, and continues to do so. Ignited by the thrill of knowledge our founder was driven to make quizzing an international forum for all; for peace, for diversity, for rights.
"Through knowledge we share wisdom" (or: Per Scientiam Participes Sapientiae) was adopted as our motto because it is the core value of our organisation to cooperate with others without discrimination or prejudice.
Our logo:
Shield - Interrogatory and teamwork of a team
Book - Knowledge of a team
Olive Branches - Peace between teams: Draw, win, or loose.
Colours:
Blue - Imagination, intuition, loyalty, and intelligence.
Gold - Triumph, achievement, and compassion.

Reporters Without Boarders - Reporters Sans Frontières (RSF)
The SQC openly supports the Reporters Without Boarders - Reporters Sans Frontières (RSF) movement which "defends the right of every human being to have access to free and reliable information. This right is essential to know, understand, form an opinion and take action on vital issues in full awareness, both individually and collectively."
"Our mandate is in the spirit of Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and of the major declarations and charters relating to journalistic ethics, notably the Munich Declaration of the Duties and Rights of Journalists."
